SALINE COUNTY —The fall weekend storm provided significant moisture for Saline County and most of central Kansas. The majority of Saline County residents reported over 1.2 inches of rain over the past 24-hours. Similar amounts were reported in Ottawa and McPherson County.
Ellsworth County reported from 1.5 to over 2 inches of moisture. Twenty-four hour totals in Dickinson County averaged approximately .75 inches of rainfall.
Flood watch and warnings continue for much of central-Kansas through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 100 percent chance of rain in the forecast through Tuesday. There is a 40 percent chance for more moisture on Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service. The first chance for sunshine is Wednesday.
