Comfort Heating and Air Salute to Service honors Brandy Shaw

This week’s Comfort Heating and Air Salute to Service honoree is Brandy Shaw of Salina.

Brandy served with the Kansas Army National Guard (KSARNG) D Co 1-108th AVN as a UH60 Blackhawk helicopter mechanic in Iraq in 2006-2007. After returning from Iraq, she continued her service in KSARNG as a UH60 helicopter crew chief while she attended the K-State Salina (now Kansas State Polytechnic) professional pilot training program. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from K-State Salina and went on to earn her master’s degree from Delta State University with a 4.0 GPA in Commercial Aviation.

Brandy works for Kansas State Polytechnic as an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor and she is the mother of three beautiful daughters, according to her husband, Mark, who nominated her.

Congratulations, Brandy, on being selected as this week’s Comfort Heating and Air Salute to Service honoree! Thank you for your service!
