Blue Beacon International, Inc., in collaboration with the Salina Police Department, Saline County Sheriff, and Saline County Emergency Management will be conducting a drill on November 9.

The scenario will provide a simulated emergency situation and allow law enforcement and employees alike to react to the situation.

According to information from Saline County Emergency Management, the drill will take place in the morning on November 9 at Blue Beacon, 500 Graves Blvd. Blue Beacon uses a high pitched audible alarm for emergency situations that will be tested during the drill. Persons living or working in the area of 500 Graves Blvd., are asked to not be alarmed if they should hear this alarm sound on November 9. The alarm may sound multiple times during the drill. Additionally, there will be an increased police presence in the area as part of the drill.
