Kansas man hospitalized after Ottawa County truck crash

OTTAWA COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 6a.m. Sunday in Ottawa County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Sterling truck driven by Kenneth J. Fuller, 68, Miltonvale, was westbound on Kansas 106 just west of U.S. 81.

The diver fell asleep and the truck veered off across the center line and struck the guard rail and a wood post on the south side of the road.

Fuller was transported to the Ottawa County Hospital in Minneapolis. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
