
Bob graduated from Ada High School and he attended Emporia State for one year. He served in the National Guard for six years. On June 7, 1953 he married Beverly Pogue at the First Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis. He was a member of the church for 60 years where he served as an elder and trustee.
The Woodruff’s farmed and ranched in the Ada area. In 1973 they moved to Minneapolis and built their home. His love was working the land and raising cattle. Bob also enjoyed his family; especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors are his wife of 65 years, Beverly of the home; daughter, Kala Woodruff of Abilene; son, Garron Woodruff and wife Janelle of Minneapolis; grandson, Bobby Williamson of Salina; granddaughters, Heather Woodruff of Minneapolis and Shawna Radke and husband Will of Solomon; and great-granddaughters, Chelsea, Nevaeh, Aaliyah, and Jayliannah.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Darlene Freeman and Marilee Jones.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 27 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 28 at the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
