Two senior services requests and a livestock and expo update are among the items on the Saline County Commission agenda for Tuesday.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 W. Ash. A time for public comment is scheduled at the beginning of the meeting.
Items on the agenda include the following.
- Consider a request to approve an agreement with the North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging (NC-FHAAA) concerning reimbursement for subsidized meals and payment to NC-FHAAA for assessments done to qualify people for subsidized meals — Rosie Walter, senior services director
- Consider a request to approve an agreement with Sunflower Adult Day Services (SADS) for the Salina Senior Center to serve as an evacuation site for SADS — Walter
- Livestock and Expo Update — Rick Lamer, livestock and expo director
Following the regular meeting the commissioners are scheduled to meet in a study session in room 217 of the City-County Building. Items on the study session agenda and their estimated times include the following.
- Executive session: attorney-client privilege (30 minutes)
- Inmate population analysis status report — Jim Robertson (one hour)
- County Administrator Rita Deister’s weekly update (30 minutes)
Additionally, at the January 15 meeting, the following county commission officers were unanimously re-elected:
- Bob Vidricksen, chair
- Rodger Sparks, vice-chair
- Jim Weese, secretary
