Burlington woman arrested after missing vehicle found in Salina

A stolen car from Burlington, Kansas, was located Monday afternoon after police noticed it was illegally parked in central Salina.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Tuesday that officers noticed a gray 2004 Dodge Intrepid parked too far away from the curb. When the plate was run, the officer discovered that the car was reported stolen from Burlington.

Victoria Jenkins, 29, of Burlington, who was nearby the car, was arrested on the vehicle theft warrant from Burlington and on suspicion of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession, Forrester said.
