A 23-year-old Herington man has been arrested in a solicitation incident involving a 13-year-old Salina girl.

According to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester, the girl reportedly received from an acquaintance two sexually explicit photos of the man via a social media app, as well as sexually explicit text messages. The girl told a friend, who reported the photos and text messages to school officials, Forrester explained. The incident occurred on December 23, 2018, he said.

Tanner J. Becker was arrested on suspicion of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child, electronic solicitation, and promoting obscenity, Forrester said.
