A Salina man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery, criminal threat, and criminal damage to property after an altercation with a juvenile family member Friday afternoon.

James Blackwell, 49, of Salina, was arrested after police were called to the 2500 block of Blakemoore in south Salina, according to Salina Police Detective Sergeant David Villanueva. The dispute was with a juvenile male family member, he added.

Villanueva said that $200 worth of damage also was done to drywall in the residence.
