Salina police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from a business in north Salina on Tuesday morning.

According to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester, a subject test drove a maroon 1999 Chevrolet Astro van from Kenny’s Auto Body and Used Cars, 615 E. Pacific and then allegedly was going to the bank to get cash, but never returned with the vehicle.

The vehicle was valued at $2,600 and had a dealer tag with the first five letters/numbers of D3814, Forrester said.
