Join Long McArthur Ford Monday as it hosts the Bargain Mansions HGTV Series Premiere Party.

The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Monday at the dealership, 3450 S. Ninth.

Bargain Mansions is a TV show about Kansas City’s crumbling manors getting massive makeovers from home renovator Tamara Day with the assistance of her father, Ward Schrader. Both are from Salina.

“Kansas City is full of inexpensive, big, old mansions in a decrepit state that scare away most buyers, but these are the homes I want the most,” Day said. “With lots of time and TLC, I can turn the properties into spacious, stylish homes that are perfect for today’s families.”

The show is currently in Season 2 on the DIY Network and will premiere on HGTV this Monday at 8 p.m.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be holding the premiere party at Long McArthur,” said Ashley McArthur. “We would like to invite all of the community out to the dealership at 6 p.m. to congratulate Tamara and Ward on such an amazing accomplishment.”

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers of Salina will be providing refreshments for the premiere party. Then, at 8 p.m., Long McArthur will show the Bargain Mansions Series Premiere on HGTV for all in attendance.
