Money in various forms on county agenda for Tuesday

Scholarships, budget requests and adjustments, and grants are among the items on the agenda for the Saline County Commission meeting Tuesday.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 W. Ash. A time for public comment is scheduled near the beginning of the meeting.

Commissioners are scheduled to hear 2020 budget requests from the Tri Rivers Fair Board, the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, and OCCK.

Other items on the county commission agenda include the following.

  • Oliver Hagg Scholarship Awards — Rick Lamer, livestock and expo director
  • Livestock and Expo Update — Lamer
  • Minimum Maintenance – Cunningham Road — Darren Fishel, road and bridge
    administrator and Tim Hamilton, Dickinson County planning and zoning administrator
  • Data Center Upgrade — Brad Bowers, computer technology director
  • Third Quarter Budget Adjustments — Annie Grevas, community corrections director
  • FY20 Adult Comprehensive Plan Grant Application — Grevas
  • FY20 Behavioral Health Grant Application — Grevas
  • FY20 Juvenile Justice Comprehensive plan Grant Application — Grevas
  • FY20 Reinvestment Grant Renewal — Grevas

Following the regular meeting, the commissioners are scheduled to meet in a study session in room 107B of the City-County Building. During the study session, they are scheduled to hear County Administrator Andrew Manley’s weekly update (30 minutes)
