Salina woman arrested on suspicion of criminal threat

A 20-year-old Salina woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal threat and disorderly conduct after an altercation with the father of her children.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Friday that police were called to the 100 block of West Ellsworth at 9:30 p.m. Thursday after Krastal Gerleman allegedly sent several threatening text messages to the man after they had argued and the man had taken away her car key. Forrester said the man didn’t want Gerleman to drive their children. He did not say why.
