A 27-year-old Salina man came home from work Wednesday and discovered that nearly $700 worth of his property, including a handgun, had been stolen.
The burglary occurred in the 1300 block of Gypsum sometime between 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, said Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester. He said items taken include the following.
- PlayStation 4 valued at $300
- Headphones valued at $80
- A Glock 22 40 caliber semiautomatic handgun valued at $300
Entry into the residence was believed to be made through a window in the laundry room that was found open, Forrester said. Additionally, when the man returned home after work, he found the front door unlocked, Forrester said.
