UPDATED: Tornado watches issued for our area

UPDATED Midnight: The National Weather Service has extended the tornado watch for  Ellsworth, Lincoln, McPherson, and Saline counties to 2 a.m. Saturday.

Tornado watches have been issued for our area.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until midnight for the following counties.

  • Ellsworth
  • Lincoln
  • McPherson
  • Saline

Additionally, a tornado watch has been issued for the following counties until 2 a.m. Saturday.

  • Clay
  • Cloud
  • Dickinson
  • Jewell
  • Mitchell
  • Ottawa
  • Republic
