UPDATE as of 8:25 p.m. Saturday: NWS has issued a special weather statement that includes the following in our area until 9:30 p.m.
- Most of Dickinson County
- McPherson County
- Western Marion County
- Saline County
At 8:25 p.m. CDT…National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Assaria to near Bentley…and moving northeast at 20 mph. Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
