Salina Police are investigating an incident in which a car was keyed from the trunk to the front passenger door while it was parked at a local drinking establishment earlier this week.

According to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester, sometime between 12:30 a.m. Wednesday and 1 p.m. Thursday, someone keyed a 2008 Chevrolet Impala while it was parked at Big Nose Kate’s, 121 N. Santa Fe.

Damage is estimated at $1,000, he said.
