A large plate glass window was destroyed over the weekend in downtown Salina.

Sometime between 6 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, someone destroyed one of the plate glass windows at Salina Auto Parts, 223 N. Santa Fe, however, no entry was made into the business, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said Monday. Damage was estimated at $1,200, he added.

A piece of rebar was found nearby, Forrester said.
