Blizzard Bash to celebrate its 10th annual demolition derby in Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. — Blizzard Bash, named the World’s Best Demolition Derby by Demolition Derby League, will be celebrating its tenth year in Topeka this November.

Blizzard Bash is an indoor demolition derby held inside Landon Arena. It spans four days with five shows. More than 330 drivers are expected to participate in the team-style derby in 2019. This event alone brings in approximately 15,000 attendees from all over the United States and Canada, with roughly 80% coming from outside of Topeka. In less than one week, it accounts for 4,000+ room nights, and an estimated $3 million in economic impact to Shawnee County.

Since its start in 2010, Blizzard Bash has now grown into one of the largest annual events in Topeka, which lead to the addition of another annual demolition derby in Landon Arena, Capital City Carnage, which occurs in March each year.

Due to the success and appeal of these derbies with attendees coming from outside of Topeka, it was decided to offer live streaming through Pay Per View options on DerbyNation.TV. People are now able to watch the event live, happening right here in Topeka, from all over the world.

The start of the 10th Annual Blizzard Bash will begin on Nov. 7, and run through November 10. Adults tickets start at $20, and youth at $8. The Saturday morning event is only $5 per GA ticket for adults and youth. Pit Passes are available at the door, as well.
