NWS: Dense fog advisory for our area

Much of the eastern half of the state is under a dense fog advisory.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a dense fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Sunday. Counties in our area included in the advisory:

Clay County
Cloud County
Dickinson County
Ellsworth County
Lincoln County
Marion County
McPherson County
Ottawa County
Republic County
Saline County

Additionally, Jewell County and Mitchell County are under a dense fog advisory until 9 a.m. Sunday.

NWS noted that a dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
