Sometime between noon on Aug. 22 and 8:32 p.m. Monday, someone stole a safe belonging to Misty Adams, 47, of Enterprise, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said. Adams had left the safe at her mother’s residence in the 300 block of West Anderson in Brookville while the two were on vacation, he said.
According to Soldan, the safe included a variety of jewelry, a buffalo head Zippo lighter, and a nickel-plated .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver with multi-colored grips. Total loss of the contents was estimated at $1,200.
