Dickinson County is shaking again!

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck at 4:13 p.m. Saturday nearly a mile west of Herington.

It was the third quake to strike Dickinson County in as many weeks. On Tuesday, a 2.3 magnitude quake was recorded four miles east of Hope. On Aug. 22, a 2.1 magnitude quake was recorded approximately two miles east of Hope.
