David R. Farrington, 79, of Salina, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019. He was born May 8, 1940, in Ellsworth County, to Clarence and Betty Farrington. He worked many years for the State of Kansas Highway Department.

He is survived by: his sister, Kathryn and husband Melvin Douglas, of The Colony, Texas; and nephew, Chris Hoppock, of Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019 at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in Carneiro Cemetery, Ellsworth County.
