Salina Police are investigating an incident in which someone sprayed paint on a vehicle in the west part of the city.

Sometime between 8 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, someone sprayed paint on the license tag, bumper, and window of a 2009 Ford Focus in the 1900 block of Page Avenue, Salina Police Captain Gary Hanus said Wednesday. A 38-year-old Salina woman reported the incident, which occurred in her driveway, he said.

Damage was estimated at $500, he added.

Officers are following up on a lead concerning a person who may be the suspect in this case, Hanus said.
