
RANDALL — Since early Saturday evening, 10 earthquakes, ranging from magnitude 2.1 to 3.5, have shaken Jewell County in north-central Kansas.
The Jewell County Sheriff’s Office told Salina Post Sunday morning that no damage or injuries had been reported because of the quakes.
According to the Kansas Geological Survey (KGS), the first quake — magnitude 3.3 — struck at 6:45 p.m. Saturday and was centered slightly more than 3 miles east-northeast of Randall.
The most recent quake — magnitude 2.4 — struck at 9:55 a.m. Sunday and was centered about 6 miles northwest of Randall or approximately five miles south-southeast of Formoso, KGS reported.

- Magnitude 3, 5:28 a.m. Sunday, about 2 miles east of Randall
- Magnitude 3.3, 5:50 a.m. Sunday, about 2.5 miles northeast of Randall
- Magnitude 2.8, 6:21 a.m. Sunday, about 3 miles northeast of Randall
- Magnitude 2.3, 6:29 a.m. Sunday, about 6 miles northeast of Randall
- Magnitude 2.1, 8:25 a.m. Sunday, about 1 mile northeast of Randall
- Magnitude 2.4, 9:55 a.m. Sunday, about 6 miles northeast of Randall
