Mothers, grandmothers, sons and grandsons are invited to enjoy time together at the zoo.

Two dates are available for the second annual Mother and Child Night at Rolling Hills Zoo, 625 N. Hedville Road: Oct. 19 and Nov. 3. For the Oct. 19 event, registration will close on Oct. 14. For the Nov. 3 event, registration will close on Oct. 28.

Adventures begin with admission to the zoo, a boxed meal at 5 p.m., followed by a narrated tram ride through the zoo. The evening concludes in the museum with a scavenger hunt, a craft, an animal encounter, and a free gift.

Cost is $18 for participants 13 and over (including adults), and $12 for participants age 3-12. Children 2 and under are admitted at no charge.
