LINDSBORG — The Dr. Emory Lindquist Tennis Center will be opened at a ribbon-
cutting ceremony Saturday during Bethany College homecoming and Svensk Hyllningsfest.

This follows the ground-breaking ceremony held last December. The project was delayed due to the abundance of rain this spring. The ribbon cutting ceremony, to be held at the center (corner of Kansas and Normal across from Anderson field) will start at approximately 11:15 a.m., or after the Hyllningsfest parade. There will be a short program and Beth Lindquist, daughter of the late Dr. Emory Lindquist, will officially open the center.

The tennis center features six courts with centrally located covered stadium seating. The center is possible due to donations of many Bethany alumni and friends.

The ceremony can be enjoyed through Facebook Live although the start time may vary since it is subject to the conclusion of the parade.
