U.S. Senate candidate Usha Reddi is scheduled to be in Salina Sunday.

Reddi, who is running for the seat currently held by Sen. Pat Roberts, is scheduled to be in Salina from 2-4 p.m. for a meet and greet at Ad Astra Books & Coffee House, 141 North Santa Fe Avenue. The event is being hosted by the Saline County Democratic Party.

Reddi is a city commissioner and former mayor of Manhattan. She has served on the commission since 2013. Reddi has lived in Kansas for 27 years and has been an elementary school teacher in Ogden since 2005, where she was honored in 2011 as the district’s Teacher of the Year.
