The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a pickup from the southeastern part of the county.
Roberto Martinez, 39, of rural Gypsum, reported that sometime between 7 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday, someone stole his black 2011 Ford F150 SuperCrew Lariat pickup from a residence in the 6200 block of South Kipp Road, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said Monday. The pickup had silver running boards and a damaged rear sliding window, he said.
The keys for the pickup were taken from another vehicle that was parked beside it, Soldan said.
The pickup had a Kansas license tag of 846 KMV and was valued at $11,000, he said.
