Hillsboro – Eunice Matz, 92, died October 23, 2019 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.  She was born September 27, 1927 to Gustav and Emma (Voth) Janzen in Goessel.  

She married her soul mate of 73 years Raymond Matz June 22, 1946 in Hillsboro.  

Survivors include: husband, Raymond Matz of Hillsboro; sons, Rick (Ruth) Matz of Wichita, Ray (Pat) Matz of Olathe, Reg Matz (Pam Buller) of Hillsboro; daughter, Eydie (Mike) Fellows of Newton; sister, Janice Plenert of Montana; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.  

Celebration of Life Service 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro with Pastor John Werner officiating.  Interment 10:00 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Hillsboro.  Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  Memorials to the Church or the Hillsboro Senior Center in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O.
