The Detroit Police Department has released the surveillance video showing 38-year-old Lamar Moore stroll into a Detroit police precinct and open fire at surprised officers.

Of the four officers wounded, two were released from the hospital and the other two are expected to be released soon. The gunman died en route to the hospital. Motive for the shooting has not been released by the authorities.

Detroit Police Chief, Ralph Godbee told the Associated Press:

“There are some tremendous acts of heroism in this video — to see officers perform in a spectacular way.”
