SOUND OFF
1. I drive thru the magnolia and Belmont intersection nearly every day, man that sure is nice now, thanks City of Salina. job well done.
2. The lights on the school zone sign on Quincy have not been working for a week now…instead of waiting for the city to fix it the police are hiding right by it handing out 170 dollar tickets for school zone speeding violations. For some reason this doesn’t seem right AT ALL!!!
3. Since the republicans have finished their exercise in idiocy, can we bill them for the 4.8 billion dollars they’ve cost our economy throughout their temper tantrum?
4. The president and Senate Democrats insisted that a clean bill be passed to end the furloughs and reopen the government. However, what was just passed out of the Senate, included a $174,000 death benefit to the wife of Frank Frank Lautenberg who passed away earlier this year, who is worth $50 billion. There was also a $2 billion dollar gift to Mitch McConnell, the sell-out himself for him to get behind this deal. This is why we are $17 trillion dollars in debt. Because people can bought. The Congress, for the most part, are not comprised of people of conviction. We have got to hold our leaders accountable and when they violate that trust, they must be replaced.
