It comes down to the final week of the season for most Kansas high schools. In the North Central Activities Association, some are in while some are out already. There are a couple league schools that will await the final gun tonight to find out their playoff fate.

Southeast of Saline (6-2) @ Ellsworth (3-5)

With a big 49-0 win over Lyons last week, Southeast of Saline was able to capture their own playoff fate. If the Trojans win tonight, they are in. Ellsworth has now lost 4 consecutive games after a 3 game winning streak. The Bearcats still have playoff hopes but need to beat SES by at least 16 and need Sacred Heart to beat Lyons.

Sacred Heart (7-1) @ Lyons (5-3)

Sacred Heart took a step in the right direction last week defeating Ellsworth, 37-20. The Knights have won 4 in a row and will capture a district title tonight with a win over Lyons. Lyons needs to upset Sacred Heart and have Ellsworth beat Southeast of Saline to qualify for the playoffs.

Minneapolis (3-5) @ Beloit (8-0)

Minneapolis has lost 5 of the last 6 games and have been eliminated from the playoffs. Beloit’s closest game in district was a 21 point win over Norton. The Trojans have already captured a district title and will play at home in the first round.

Russell (1-7) @ Scott City (7-1)

Russell was eliminated last week after losing to Hoisington. Things will not get easier tonight for the Broncos as they face Scott City. The Beavers have already captured the district title after defeating TMP last week.

Smith Center (6-2) @ Republic County (0-8)

Smith Center has captured a district title and currently ride a 4 game winning streak. Republic County is looking to avoid another 0-9 season. Smith Center will play Sterling in the first round of the playoffs.
