The Brown Mackie Men’s basketball team started their season with a win over Bethany JV, 109-69 on Saturday at the KSU-Salina Recreaction Center. The Lions, who are ranked #5 in the nation for Junior College Division II, shot the ball well from the floor at 69%.

Rico Spikes led the way for BMC with 22 points, going 9 of 10 from the field. Jason Jordan scored 15 points and Kevin McLemore added 12.

The Lions will play at McPherson College on Monday at 5:00 pm.
