Release from Mary Gordon

The Kansas Wesleyan University Jazz and Percussion Ensembles will collaborate to present their first concert of the season on Tuesday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Sams Chapel.

The Percussion Ensemble is directed by Dean Kranzler and the Jazz Ensemble is directed by Gordon Lewis.

The concert will feature music by Les Sabina, Victor Lopez, Freddie Hubbard, Anthony J. Cirone, and more. Songs performed will include: “Sweet Dreams,” “Night Flight,” “Gumbo Caliente,” “Sabre Dance,” and many others.

The concert is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served following the performance.
