
Thelma Maxine Letcher, 83, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, November 12th, at Salina Regional Health Center.
Thelma was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on March 14, 1930, to the late Gertrude (Brown) and Roy Horton.
She married Lloyd Letcher on November 5, 1948 in Leavenworth, Kansas. Lloyd and Thelma made their home in Salina after Lloyd’s retirement from the United States Airforce. Thelma was a line supervisor at Tony’s Pizza in Salina.
Survivors include her sons, Dr. Lloyd Letcher and his wife Becky, of Kansas City, Kansas, Mike Letcher, MPA and his wife Marilyn, of Tucson, Arizona, Kevin Letcher, Esquire and his wife Carol, of West Lafayette, Indiana, Greg Letcher, of Florida, Colonel Steven Letcher, of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Yolonda Corby, of Topeka, Kansas; daughter-in-law, Patricia Letcher, of San Antonio, Texas; as well as, seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd; daughters, Cheryl Lange and Dorthea Johnson, and son, Lieutenant Colonel Larry Letcher.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 21 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 22nd.
Interment will be held at Leavenworth National Veterans Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. 9:00 a.m., Monday, November 25, 2013.

Alison Marie Miller, 3 months, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Monday, November 11th, at Salina Regional Health Center, Kansas.
Alison was born in Salina, Kansas on July 23, 2013, daughter of David Joseph Miller and Cassandra Pearl Roets.
Survivors include her parents; brother, Davin Miller of Salina, Kansas; sisters, Riley Miller, Addison Garrett, McKenzie Garrett, all of Salina, Kansas; grandparents, Robert Roets of Salina, Kansas, Diane Ellyson of Salina, Kansas; great grandparents, Charlotte Roets of Salina, Kansas, Thomas Summers and wife Norma of Wichita, Kansas, Dennis Thummel and wife Jo of Cameron, Missouri. She is also survived by Aunts, Tiffany Roets, Leslie Toney, Crystal Ellyson, Haley Streit; and Uncles, Jeffrey Cobb, C.J. Ellyson; many family and friends.
She is preceded in death by grandmother, Alice Roets and Grandfather, Daniel Miller.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Monday, November 18th, 2013 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, Kansas. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Salina, Kansas.

Carolyn Hatfield, 81, of Salina, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013. She was born May 3, 1932 in Casper, Wyoming, the daughter of Charlie and Margaret Jenkins.
Carolyn was preceded by two sons, Steve and Mike; three sisters, Betty, Dorothy and Barbara and one grandson, Jason Hatfield. She is survived by her husband, Boyd H. Hatfield, of Salina; one daughter, Roxanne Hatfield and husband Tracy Harcrow, of Salina; two sons, Russell Hatfield and wife Natalie, of Las Vegas and Boyd W. Hatfield, of Salina; two sisters, Charlene and Helen; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Candice, Chad, Jesse, Bryant, Heather, Nikki, Heather, Haley, Zachary, Boyd and Braven and 15 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. There will be no services. Arrangements handled by Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
