Rifle discharged during argument Monday evening

An argument Monday evening leads to the arrest of a Salina man on charges of aggravated assault and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

Lt. Scott Siemsen of the Salina Police Department said 38-year-old Kevin Lee, and 39-year-old Joseph Houseman had been arguing at Houseman’s trailer at 917 N. 13th, and Lee went back to his trailer.

A short time later Houseman went to Lee’s trailer and pointed a .22 rifle at Lee. Lee pushed the rifle away, the two struggled, and the rifle discharged.

A neighbor called police,who following an investigation arrested Houseman.
