Senator Roberts to present “Washington Update”

ABILENE, Kan. – Sen. Pat Roberts will present a “Washington Update” that includes information on the Eisenhower Memorial followed by a speech focusing on foreign affairs at the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum on Thursday, Feb. 24. The program includes a brief question and answer sesion and begins at 2 p.m. in the Visitors Center Auditorium.

“We are honored to have the Senator be a part of the Kansas Town Hall program,” said Karl Weissenbach, Director, Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum. “It is important that constituents have the opportunity to hear from their elected officials. As the public square of Kansas, we are pleased to offer that opportunity.”

The goal of Kansas Town Hall is to increase citizen participation and understanding of the democratic experience. These programs allow Kansans an opportunitity to join in on important policy issues.
