The Salina Post had a chance to talk to the Starbucks staff at the location in front of the Central Mall. It seems that for the past few days, patrons in the drive-thru have been paying for the coffee of the vehicle behind them. A staff member commented that she has seen it last up to 30 minutes, where one car will pay for the car behind it.
Just today they had someone load a Starbucks gift card up to pay for the coffee of those in the drive-thru. Starbucks staff said this is a normal occurrence around this time of year and is great to see it happen.
