Residential burglary. Between December 27th and December 28th, someone forced open a window of an apartment of Benjamin Friedman at 333 Otto and removed a glass jar with $350 in cash and change. Damage to the window listed at $110.

Counterfeit cash. Between December 27th and December 28th, someone passed a counterfeit $20 bill to make a purchase at Casey’s at 1100 E. Iron. Salina Police want to alert residents and businesses to watch out for counterfeit cash being passed in the area.

Vehicle burglary. A black medium sized purse was removed from an unlocked car at 1140 Republic Circle Sunday evening. The purse owned by Brittany Green contained a wallet with $200 in cash. The purse valued at $10.

Vehicle burglary. A Oxyacetylene torch was taken out of the bed of a pickup owned by Robert Frobeninus of Salina while parked behind Elmore Center in the 600 block of E. Crawford between December 26th and December 27th. Loss is estimated at $500.
