Salina Fire Crews were Dispatched to 1416 E Beloit around 8:30p.m. Sunday evening for structure fire, upon arrival units assumed command of a multi-family duplex with nothing showing from the exterior of structure.

Upon further investigation crews advised of small fire in bedroom and made quick interior attack, crews advised fire out and under control. Crews transported one occupant from scene to Salina Regional Medical Center for further treatment for smoke inhalation.

Damage to structure was minimized to room of involvement with minor smoke damage throughout.

At the current time fire is under investigation.
