The I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force arrested two people Friday for sales of marijuana.

Task Force Commander Lt. Jim Norton, said a confidential informant made three buys of marijuana at a room at the Knights Inn at 636 Westport Blvd in December and January.

During a search of the room with a warrant, 70 grams of marijuana was recovered along with scales, drug paraphernalia, and money from the Task Force to make the marijuana buy.

Arrested on drug charges was 41-year-old Johnnie Myers, and 24-year-old Michelle Williams.
