Mother nature jumped the gun on Sunday near the Kansas and Oklahoma border, serving up a rare February tornado.

According to the Wichita Eagle:

This footage was shot by Chad Cowan, Darin Brunin and Jordan Wrecke Sunday north of Grainola, Okla., which is just south of the Kansas line on K-15.

Chance Hayes, warning coordination meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wichita, said he is still trying to confirm whether the tornado crossed into Kansas before lifting.
