The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pair of residential burglaries. Between March 3rd and March 6th, someone entered a rental property at 1940 S. Lightville Road owned by Thomas Wikoff of Brookville.
Taken was a washer and dryer, a glass top stove and oven, a microwave oven,5-new windows and 3- new doors that were going to be put into the house. Also stolen was a 1998 Ford F-150 pickup black in color with a white bed. There was no license plate on the truck.
Loss is estimated at $5,890.
On Thursday morning , someone entered the home of Mark Poskey in the 5400 block of E North and removed several items. Among the items stolen were a .44 caliber lever-action rifle, a pair of .22 rifles, two 12-gauge shotguns, a pellet pistol and pellet rifle, a holster, a laptop computer, a Harley Davidson blanket, and four pocket knives.
Loss is estimated at around $2,500.
