A 34-year-old Salina man who was living with his grandmother has been arrested for stealing jewelry from her and selling it.
James C. Walle is alleged to have taken the jewelry valued at $4,100 between February 1st and February 27th. He then sold it to a Salina jewelry store. Walle was arrested on Friday.
Information was not available if the jewelry has been recovered. Walle was arrested on requested charges of felony theft, misdemeanor theft, theft by deception, and making false information.
