At approximately 12pm today a grass fire started on the South side of Lakewood Park. The Salina Fire Department responded quickly to put out the small grass fire.

This is the second fire this week in a local Salina Park. Severe dry conditions and winds have made conditions prime for fires to start.

There is no information available on what caused the fire.
