BURDETT, Kans-Two people were injured in a Saturday rear end crash in Pawnee County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1987 Chevy truck driven by Geoffrey Clyde Norris, 59, Burdette was traveling northbound on 345 Ave just north of Burdett.

The vehicle was slowing to look for a field entrance and was rear ended by a 2007 GMC Sierra driven by Burke Lane Pelton, 30, Burdett.
Norris and a passenger in the truck Marie Anastasia Norris, 16, Burdett were transported to the hospital in Larned.

Pelton and a 2-year-old passenger in the Sierra were not injured.

The KHP reported only the baby was properly restrained.
