Thieves make off with trailers, a riding lawn mower, and a pair of all-terrain vehicles from near two motels early Tuesday morning.

Michael S. Perry reported to police that a black trailer along with a Dixon ZTR riding mower , blue in color , and a 16-foot extension ladder,was taken from a parking lot at the Baymont Inn at 1740 W. Crawford between 1:30a.m. and 6:30a.m. Tuesday morning. Loss is estimated at $6,200.

A Colorado man reports that a homemade trailer with two ATV’s were taken from the west parking of the 24-7 store on N. 9th while he was staying at the La Quinta Inn at 201 E. Diamond Drive. Beau Woodcock said the ATV’s were a 2007 Yamaha Grizzly and a 2009 Yamaha Grizzly. One was black, the other was camouflage colored. Security video from the store showed the theft occurred between 4:08-4:16a.m. Tuesday morning. Loss is placed at $5,000.
