Salina Public Schools will recognize retiring faculty and staff members from 3-4:30 p.m. May 4, at Lakewood Middle School. Presentations will begin at 3:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend the event.

The district will also honor the Salina USD 305 Master Teacher, Brandon Cheeks, and Deanna Cullins, Secondary Teacher of the Year, and Tara Vanderbilt, Elementary Teacher of the Year.

Staff members who will be recognized include Kathy Albers, Greg Anderes, Bill Baughman, Margie Carrier, Monica Davis, Eunice Gary, Frank T. Herrman, Sue Holmes, James A. Jore, Barbara Karlin, Vonda Karr, Reuben Montoy, Helen Rettie, Janelle L. Riedy, Kathy Smock, Bill Sturges, Jennifer Sturges, Marlys Wagner and Peggy Yenser.
           

The district also will present University of Kansas certificates to individuals who have completed 25 years of service to education. Receiving years of service certificates will be Diane Anderson, Rex Boley, Ardis Bryan-Newhouse, Lynette Crawford, Denise Dresie, Brian Duncan, Deborah Ebbert, Doug Finch, Dean Heckethorn, Sherry Jackson, Cynthia Kasey, Patricia Keiswetter, Stephen Klotzbach, Kathleen Laflen, Gina Lee, Barbara Livengood, Sheila Mortimer, Patti Robben, Mary Rupe, Gary Seibel, Diana Shaft, Carlene Stueve, Debra Webb and Mary Wood.
