I-70 Construction in Dickinson County UPDATE

i-70-signConstruction on I-70 in Dickinson County continues with westbound traffic moved onto the passing lane of the completed eastbound lanes placing traffic in a head to head arraignment beginning at the east end of the project with traffic moving back onto the westbound lanes at the I-70/Jeep Rd Interchange.

The Eastbound ramps at Jeep Rd will be reopened Tuesday, April 29th.

Work moves eastward Wednesday, April 30th when the westbound ramps of the I-70/K-43 Interchanges will be closed for construction along with I-70 westbound between the eastern end of the project and the Jeep Rd Interchange. As part of the construction relocation tomorrow westbound traffic will be located on the passing lane of the eastbound lanes throughout the project.

Westbound traffic wanting to exit at K-43 will continue on to the Jeep Rd. Interchange where they will exit and renter I-70 eastbound then exit at the K-43 Interchange.

Signs and message boards will continue to be installed before each phase to detour the public around the ramp closures.
